Hello! I was looking through a journal that I had started when I found out Brody was on his way. I thought that it would be cool to share the experiences with you as well! I am going to date each entry just as it is in my notebook. I don't know how often I will post them. I was thinking weekly, but since it is basically already written for me, I could blog more often than that. I am going to label them 'Dear Baby.' So if you only want to read these posts, you can click on 'Dear Baby' in the sidebar to the left under LABELS. Some of them are really random and near the end, they are spaced pretty far apart. But it's about our new life--so here you go....my first letter. Short and sweet~

Welcome to the world baby! Your dad and I just found out you would be ours this morning. I love you already! You are just the size of a sesame seed. Can you believe it?! God's creation is SO awesome. I thank God for you! I pray you grow to be a leader of people and follower of God. You can change the world, baby! I believe in you! Be strong in the Lord! Your dad and I love you so much!
-I peed a ton today.
-I am ALWAYS hungry!
-I have had bloating and cramping.
Dad calls you his little mustard seed, 'Frenchy.' (When looking back I realize mustard seed and sesame seed contradict each other. I think I read him the preceding chapters of the What to Expect... book and you were mustard before you were sesame. Or something like that?? :) )
